Visiting Laughlin?

Laughlin is a popular budget-friendly alternative to Las Vegas, especially for visitors from Arizona and Southern California. If you are crossing the river from Bullhead City, Arizona, remember that you cannot bring cannabis back across the state line. Arizona has its own legal cannabis market, but transporting cannabis between states remains a federal crime regardless of legality in either state. Consume any purchases before leaving Nevada.

For visitor rules, see our Nevada Visitor Guide and What to Expect at a Dispensary.

Colorado River Border

The Colorado River marks the Nevada-Arizona state line. Do not transport cannabis across the Laughlin Bridge or any other crossing into Arizona. Even though Arizona also has legal recreational cannabis, crossing state lines with cannabis is a federal offense.
