Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB)
The Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board is the state's primary cannabis regulator, responsible for all establishment licensing, agent card registration, compliance inspections, enforcement, and the METRC seed-to-sale tracking system. The CCB replaced the Department of Taxation as the cannabis regulator on July 1, 2020.

Accela Cannabis Customer Portal
The CCB uses the Accela platform for all license applications, renewals, agent card applications, and ownership transfer requests.

Under SB 41 (2025), all cannabis licensees must obtain a cannabis tax permit from the Department of Taxation. Operations must cease if the tax permit is revoked. The Department oversees the 15% wholesale excise tax and 10% retail excise tax.

Nevada Cannabis Association (NCA)
Formerly the Nevada Dispensary Association, the NCA is the state's primary cannabis industry trade group. The association promotes best practices, conducts legislative advocacy, and provides compliance training for operators. Members include Planet 13, Curaleaf, Cookies, Jardin, NuWu, and dozens of other operators.
Las Vegas Medical Marijuana Association (LVMMA)
Promotes the medical marijuana industry and provides patient rights information.
Advocacy and Policy Organizations

Focuses on public awareness and policy reform, offering free monthly educational meetings, criminal justice advocacy, record-sealing assistance, and voter registration drives.

The national organization instrumental in Nevada's Question 2 legalization campaign maintains a detailed Nevada state page tracking current laws and legislative developments.
